Background

A wrist injury in my late 20's prevented me from participating in three of my favorite activities: rock climbing, skiing and cycling. And even though I was making my living as a writer, I couldn't type. Weeks after surgery, when the problem still had not resolved, I turned to Rolfing, hoping to regain my health.

My experience with Rolfing not only resulted in full recovery of my wrist, but impacted my life in a deeper way. And as I had always been interested in alternative healing methods, I soon enrolled in classes at the Boulder, Colorado Rolf Institute of Structural Integration. I am now a Certified Advanced Rolfer and continue to enrich my practice by attending classes and workshops. In addition, I have returned to the Rolf Institute as an Assistant Instructor.
